Fatal motorcycle crash in Ohio Valley
Tuscarawas County, OH (WTRF) — An Ohio man died following a motorcycle crash Saturday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers said the crash happened just after 5 p.m. on State Route 800 near Froman Hill Road. Jack Lineberry, 63, was traveling southbound when he crossed left of center while attempting to avoid a vehicle that had slowed to turn right onto Froman Hill Road. According to investigators, the motorcycle and rider then went off the east side of the road and struck a guardrail. Lineberry was flown to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Troopers said alcohol and drugs are factors in the crash. They also said Lineberry was not wearing a helmet at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
