Fatal motorcycle crash in East Bay on Monday morning
All lanes of Vasco Road in Contra Costa County have been reopened following a tragic motorcycle accident on Monday morning. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 5:06 a.m. on southbound Vasco Road near Dyer Road. Emergency responders initially had trouble locating the motorcyclist, but the individual was found at 5:33 a.m. Sadly, they were pronounced dead on the scene. By 6:35 a.m., the roadway had been cleared, but traffic delays were still expected due to the incident. Further details about the crash were not immediately provided by CHP.
