Fatal motorcycle collision reported in southwest Abilene
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday afternoon in southwest Abilene, according to police. The crash occurred on June 30 at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Dub Wright Boulevard and involved a motorcycle and a Jeep. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area as police continue to investigate and crews work at the scene.
