Fatal motorcycle accident in Albuquerque
The Albuquerque Police Department is currently looking into a tragic accident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident occurred when a gray Jeep, in the left turn lane of westbound Menaul Blvd., attempted to turn onto southbound University Blvd. The motorcycle, traveling east on Menaul with a green light, collided with the Jeep at the intersection. Regrettably, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Although neither driver displayed any signs of impairment, the speed of the motorcyclist is suspected to have played a role in the crash. The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
