Fatal Illinois School Bus Crash Injures 11
A tragic incident involving a school bus and a car in a Chicago suburb resulted in the loss of one life and the hospitalization of 11 individuals, including multiple students. The driver of the car was declared deceased by the Illinois State Police, while the students on the bus were fortunately not seriously injured. The bus, which was carrying 10 students from Manhattan School District 114, was involved in the collision at 8:17 a.m., as reported by the Manhattan Fire Protection District. Both the students and the bus driver received evaluations at the scene and were taken to nearby hospitals for further care due to the seriousness of the crash. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
