Fatal helicopter crash in Eastern Montana claims 4 lives
A helicopter accident in Eastern Montana has resulted in the tragic deaths of four family members related to a gubernatorial candidate in Illinois. The individuals who lost their lives in the crash were the son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren of Darren Bailey, as announced in a statement by the campaign of Darren Bailey and Aaron Del Mar on Facebook. The crash, involving a Robinson Helicopters R66, occurred near Ekalaka on Wednesday evening and is currently being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board. Darrell Bailey, a Republican, recently launched his campaign for Illinois governor against the incumbent, JB Pritzker, who defeated Bailey in the 2022 election.
