Fatal head-on crash claims lives of three in Martin County
MARTIN COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - Three Stanton women died Wednesday evening as a result of a head-on crash in Martin County along IH-20 N. Service Road, mile marker 153. Two female minors lost their lives in the crash, along with the driver, who was identified as Debra Ramirez, 42 years of age. The minors were 16 and 14 years old. According to Texas DPS, Justin Milulka, 56 years old, was traveling westbound on the North Service Road of IH-20 when he failed to yield the right of way to Ramirez, who was traveling westbound. As a result, Milulka struck Ramirez's vehicle head-on while she was attempting to get onto the on-ramp to IH-20. Ramirez and the passenger in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The rear passenger was transported to Martin County Hospital but succumbed to injuries. Milulka was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, along with the passenger identified as Michelle Sanders, 29-years-old. Another passenger in Milulka was transported to Midland Memorial with minor injuries. This crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
