Fatal head-on collision in Pacific involves ATV and truck
PACIFIC, Mo. - A 49-year-old man died in an ATV crash just before 9:45 p.m. on Old Gray Summit Road, west of Sierra Ridge Drive, in Pacific, Mo. The accident involved a head-on collision between an all-terrain vehicle and a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the 49-year-old ATV driver crossed the center line before colliding head-on with the pickup. The driver of the pickup, a 62-year-old man, was taken to the hospital following the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated that the all-terrain vehicle was destroyed in the crash.
