Fatal crash with horse and carriage in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania per State Police
One individual tragically lost his life in a collision involving a horse and buggy in Lancaster County on Wednesday afternoon, confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Police. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on Strasburg Road in Salisbury Township, according to state police. The road, also known as Rt. 741, was temporarily closed but has since been reopened, as reported by PennDOT. State police have their Lancaster Patrol Unit, Troop J Forensic Services Unit, and Troop J Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialists Unit at the scene conducting an investigation into the accident.
