Fatal crash on San Elijo Road in San Marcos
A fatal accident occurred in San Marcos, California when a woman driving a small car collided with a crossover SUV. The incident, which took place at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, involved a gray Honda CR-V and a white Nissan Sentra on San Elijo Road. The driver of the Nissan Sentra lost control while traveling westbound, crossing the median and crashing into the oncoming Honda CR-V. Sadly, the driver of the Nissan Sentra was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the CR-V sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital, where she is assisting with the investigation. The San Marcos Sheriff's Station Traffic Unit is currently investigating the accident, and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the authorities.
