Fatal Crash on I-135 in McPherson County involves Park City Woman
A tragic accident occurred in McPherson County Wednesday afternoon claiming the life of a Park City woman. The crash took place on Interstate 135, just north of Comanche Road at approximately 2:15 p.m. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 41-year-old woman named Angel Nichols was driving south on I-135 when she collided with the back of a semi that was slowing down to yield to traffic. The impact caused both vehicles to come to a stop in the southbound lane. Unfortunately, Nichols passed away at the scene, while the occupants of the semi, the driver and a passenger, did not sustain any visible injuries.
