ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) - Drivers on I-581 in Roanoke can expect delays due to two separate vehicle crashes, one at mile marker 0.9 and one at mile marker 1, resulting in multiple lane closures and traffic backups. According to VDOT, on I-581 at mile marker 0.9 in the City of Roanoke, the south left shoulder, left lane, and center lane are closed. Traffic backups are approximately 2.0 miles as of 1:20 p.m. On I-581 at mile marker 1, motorists can expect delays as the south center lane, right lane, and right shoulder are closed.
