Fatal Crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near Stevenson Expressway
A tragic incident occurred early Sunday when a crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive resulted in the death of a woman. According to Chicago police, a man was driving north on DuSable Lake Shore Drive with several passengers when he lost control of the car near the Stevenson Expressway and McCormick Place. The vehicle hit a pole and then the median. The driver and three passengers sustained injuries and were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in stable condition. Unfortunately, one woman sustained severe injuries and passed away at the hospital. The police Major Accident Investigation Unit is currently looking into the incident.
