Fatal crash on Dolphin Expressway causes traffic delays
A fatal crash occurred on the Dolphin Expressway on a Saturday morning, causing significant traffic delays, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident occurred on the westbound lanes of Florida State Road 836 near Northwest 57th Avenue, where a Toyota sedan collided with the rear of a white flatbed truck. The driver of the Toyota, a man, tragically passed away at the scene. Fortunately, the truck driver was unharmed. Florida Highway Patrol temporarily closed the westbound lanes of SR-836, resulting in heavy traffic until approximately noon. The crash is currently being investigated, and FHP has not disclosed additional details at this time.
