Fatal crash leaves Miami resident dead and Kansas driver injured
A tragic incident occurred in Miami, Oklahoma, where a local resident lost his life following a collision with a commercial motor vehicle on a rural road in Ottawa County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the victim, Taylor S. Williams, aged 29, was fatally injured in the accident that occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. on County Road 137, about 500 feet south of E 93 Road. According to authorities, Williams was driving south on County Road 137 when, under unknown circumstances, his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a commercial motor vehicle driven by Donna Helms, 38, of Girard, Kansas, on the driver's side. Helms sustained injuries in the crash as well.
