Fatal crash involving tractor and semi in Dallas County
DALLAS COUNTY, Mo. — A woman has died after a crash between a John Deere tractor and a semi in Dallas County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, a 76-year-old Louisburg, Missouri, woman was involved in a crash around 1:20 p.m. on U.S. 65, two miles north of Louisburg. Officials state the incident occurred when a 41-year-old Alexander, Arkansas, man driving a 2025 Peterbilt semi began to pass in a passing lane. The tractor is said to have begun a left turn into a private driveway and was struck by the semi-truck. The woman was pronounced dead around 3:29 p.m. by a doctor at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The next of kin has been notified. This is the 62nd fatality for Troop D in 2026.
