U.S. 95 is now open again after a tragic incident involving a motorcyclist and a wild burro on Friday night. The southbound lanes of the highway were closed around 10:44 p.m. near Corn Creek Road, following a collision between the motorcycle rider and the burro, as reported by the Nevada State Police - Highway Patrol. The rider, an unidentified adult male, tragically lost his life at the scene. It is unclear whether the burro survived the collision. The state police are conducting a preliminary investigation and plan to share more details soon. The road was cleared and opened for traffic by 1:19 a.m. Saturday, according to an update provided by NSP.
