Fatal crash in Weld County leaves 2 dead, 2 injured

In Weld County, a tragic crash occurred late on Tuesday night resulting in two fatalities and two injuries. The incident, on Weld County Road 33 near Highway 392, involved a Lincoln MKC vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign, veering off the road, and striking a tree after going airborne over an embankment. The deceased driver, a 22-year-old woman from Kansas City, and a 19-year-old male passenger from Arkansas City, Kansas, lost their lives in the crash. Two other passengers, one described as a juvenile with serious injuries and the other as a juvenile with minor injuries, were taken to the hospital. The Weld County Coroner will release the victims' identities once their families have been informed. Colorado State Patrol is seeking witnesses to the accident and can be reached at 303-239-4500.
