Fatal crash in Washington County claims life of driver

According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency news release, 32-year-old Tha'one S. Johnson died after his car crashed head-on with a truck on Alabama 17 near the 55-mile marker. Officials said that Johnson was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene. The truck driver was also injured and was taken to University Hospital in Mobile. The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. on June 7.
