Fatal crash in Muhlenberg County kills three, KSP investigating
HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Muhlenberg County that killed three people. Officials state it happened at the intersection of US-431 and Power Plant Road on Sunday. A preliminary investigation revealed a Nissan sedan, driven by 35-year-old Whitney Duarte of Central City, was traveling south on US-431 when the vehicle crossed the center line and hit a Ford pickup truck that had 56-year-old Kevin Latham of Bremen and 67-year-old Joey Watkins of Central City inside. All three people were pronounced dead at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner. The investigation remains ongoing.
