Fatal crash in Lake County leaves two dead, one in custody
Two individuals lost their lives and another was harmed in an accident involving three vehicles on State Road 33, just north of Swamp Drive. According to officials, a 2009 Mini Cooper crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with a semi-truck before striking a 2006 Chevy Silverado. The Mini Cooper driver, identified as 50-year-old Seenarine Hardeo from Groveland, was charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter. The driver of the semi-truck sustained minor injuries, while the individuals in the Chevy Silverado sadly passed away at the scene. The incident is currently being investigated further.
