Fatal Crash in KCMO on Friday Evening
Kansas City Police are currently investigating a single-car accident that led to the driver's death. The incident occurred in the evening when a Hyundai Tucson driver approached the N. Indiana Avenue exit from the westbound MO 152 Highway. Despite the green traffic signal, the driver remained still, causing other vehicles to maneuver around the stopped car. Subsequently, when the light turned red, the driver proceeded through the intersection onto the westbound MO 152 Hwy. ramp but lost control and veered off the road, colliding with a large rock that resulted in the vehicle overturning. Sadly, the driver, who was the sole occupant, passed away at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released yet.
