Fatal crash in Kansas City as driver loses control on exit ramp and hits bridge support pillar.
The Kansas City Police Department is currently looking into a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday. The incident took place on eastbound Interstate 670 and southbound Highway 71. Initial findings suggest that a gray BMW 230i was speeding while attempting to exit the I-670 ramp. Unfortunately, the driver was unable to navigate the curve, veered off the road to the left, and collided with a concrete bridge support pillar after traveling down a grassy embankment. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was declared dead at the scene. The authorities are actively investigating the details of the crash.
