Fatal crash in Greater Heights area
The Houston Police Department is currently looking into a fatal accident involving a single vehicle. HPD officials, led by Sgt. Rebecca Dallas, responded to the crash that occurred on North Durham Drive near West 16th Street. Reports indicate that a sedan traveling south on North Durham veered off the road, struck a curb, and collided with a building nearby. Unfortunately, the female driver of the vehicle was declared deceased at the accident site. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Sgt. Dallas mentioned that speed is believed to have been a factor in the incident, while there has been no confirmation from the police regarding the role of alcohol in the crash.
