Fatal crash in Fisher County claims life of Sweetwater resident
In Fisher County, Texas, a man from Sweetwater tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 70 on Sunday morning. The collision occurred when an SUV, driven by 87-year-old Jerry Leon Fry, failed to yield to a pickup truck while attempting to enter SH 70 from a private driveway. Regrettably, Fry was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
