Fatal crash in Ellettsville leaves 2 dead
Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Monroe County on Thursday night near Ellettsville, Indiana. The incident took place on West State Road 46 close to North Cypress Lane, where a Chevy sedan traveling west veered into the eastbound lanes and crashed into a Jeep. The occupants of the sedan did not survive, while the occupants of the Jeep were hospitalized in Bloomington and are reported to be in stable condition. The names of the deceased individuals are not being disclosed pending notification of their families. The crash is currently under investigation, and the road was shut down for several hours for assessment.
