Fatal crash in Delaware County leaves one dead
DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. — A Quapaw man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Delaware County early Sunday morning. The crash happened at approximately 1:15 a.m. at County Road S 575 and County Road E 350 in Delaware County, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Aaron Miller, 35, of Jay failed to negotiate a curve on County Road South 575 and that's when he struck a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road. Troopers say Toby Myers, 40, was already out of his vehicle when Miller hit him. First responders transported Myers to Integris Grove Hospital Emergency room where he was pronounced dead. Miller was not injured. OHP is continuing its investigation. We will provide updates as they become available.
