Fatal crash claims one life in Highland County.
A tragic incident occurred in Highland County on Sunday evening resulting in one fatality. The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Wilmington Post reported that during investigations, it was found that a 76-year-old man named Andrew Pauckner from New Vienna, had a medical emergency while driving eastbound on Panhandle Road. Pauckner veered off the road, hitting a ditch and then a tree before succumbing to his injuries at the scene. Various agencies including the Highland County Sheriff's Office, Clinton Highland Joint Fire and EMS, and the Highland County Coroner's Office provided assistance. The crash is currently being investigated.
