Fatal crash at I-10 Katy Freeway East near Highway 6 leads to several lanes closed
HOUSTON (CW39) — A fatal crash on the I-10 Katy Freeway eastbound near Dairy Ashford Road has led to several lanes being closed on Wednesday morning. Houston Transtar said that the crash happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday with two vehicles -- an 18-wheeler and a car. Early reports say that two people were killed in the crash. As of 6:15 a.m., all five lanes are closed as first responders are working the scene. The HOV lanes are also closed. To help navigate the area, please use the CW39 traffic map.
