Fatal collision on Christmas in Centre County

Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating a tragic accident that occurred over the Christmas holiday in Centre County. The incident, which resulted in three fatalities and three injuries, took place on North Eagle Valley Road in Howard Township at around 2:30 p.m. The crash involved two vehicles, a Pontiac G6 and a Nissan Pathfinder, colliding head-on after both cars reportedly crossed the center line. Sadly, the driver and two passengers of the Pontiac lost their lives due to the accident, while two other individuals sustained serious injuries and were airlifted for medical treatment. The driver of the Nissan was also taken to the hospital, although their condition remains undisclosed. The authorities have not yet released the names of those involved in the collision. Various emergency response agencies, including the Howard Fire Department, Pleasant Gap, Bellefonte, and Blanchard EMS, as well as Mt. Nittany Paramedics, Stat Med, Life Flight, and Richs Towing, provided assistance at the scene.
