Fatal collision between man and semi truck on 21st Street near I-135 in Wichita
Authorities in Wichita, Kansas are currently looking into a tragic incident that occurred early Monday involving a collision between a car and a semi-truck. The incident took place on 21st Street just west of Interstate I-135 near the Love's Travel Stop around 7 a.m. Reports from the Wichita Police Department indicate that a white Ford Focus crashed into a stationary semi-truck that had its hazards on due to mechanical issues. Sadly, a man in his 30s, who was in the car, lost his life at the scene. To secure the area for investigation, 21st Street is temporarily closed between I-135 and Mosley Street. It is advised that motorists seek alternate routes.
