A 75-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic crash in western Iowa on Christmas Day. Authorities believe fog played a role in the incident, which occurred near the intersection of 130th Street and Walnut Avenue in Monona County. The Iowa State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle crash that involved a Ford Escape and a GMC Sierra. The Ford driver, identified as Rosemary Barber, was attempting to turn around on the foggy road when the collision occurred. Sadly, Barber succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital. The occupants of the GMC were fortunately unharmed in the accident.
