Fatal car crash in Franklin injures two
One individual has tragically passed away following a car accident in Franklin, as reported by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred on Christmas Eve at around 11:39 a.m. at the intersection of Nineveh Road and County Road 80 S. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and discovered three individuals injured from the crash. They were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, where sadly one individual succumbed to their injuries. Nineveh Road, spanning from US 31 to Windstar, will remain closed until the initial investigation is complete.
