Fatal car crash claims life of Greenville resident in Martin County
In Martin County, North Carolina, a tragic car accident took the life of a woman from Greenville early on Friday morning. Authorities were called to NC 171 in response to a collision. London Godley was driving her Honda near Coltrain Lane when the vehicle crossed the centerline, prompting an overcorrection that led to the car veering off the road and into a ditch. The car flipped over, and Godley was partially thrown from it. Emergency Medical Services confirmed Godley's passing at the accident site.
