Fatal ATV crash under investigation in Stark County
STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) -- An investigation is underway in Stark County where one person died following an incident involving an ATV. According to a news release from the sheriff's office, deputies responded to the 6100 block of Cleveland Avenue SE in Pike Township around 3:25 p.m. Sunday, June 14, where one person had been seriously injured. The victim, found on private property, either fell from the ATV or crashed it while riding, deputies said. The rider was treated at the scene then rushed to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. The victim's name and age were not released by officials. The incident remains under investigation.
