Fatal Accident: Pedestrian dies after reportedly fleeing police on Highway 4 in Antioch
Authorities are currently looking into a fatal accident on Highway 4 in Antioch, where a pedestrian was involved and reportedly trying to evade police. The California Highway Patrol was alerted to the collision between a vehicle and the pedestrian around 10:40 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Highway 4, near Somersville Road. They were informed that the pedestrian had been running from Antioch police at the time of the incident. As a result, the left and center lanes of the eastbound Highway 4 were closed off for investigation.
