Fatal accident on State Route 351 in Brunswick
The Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) is currently investigating a tragic single-vehicle accident that occurred in Brunswick, resulting in a fatality. The crash happened on State Route 351 on Thursday afternoon. Authorities found that the vehicle involved veered off the road while traveling north on NY 351 and went down a steep ravine. The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene. To enable emergency responders to assess and clear the area, a section of Route 351 between White Church and Dearstyne Roads was closed for several hours. The New York State Police, Rensselaer County Bureau of Public Safety, and local Fire Departments aided the RCSO in managing the situation.
