Fatal accident on I-85 in Dinwiddie County, per state police
A woman aged 75 passed away in a collision on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, as reported by the Virginia State Police. The incident involved a single vehicle which occurred at 9 a.m. on Friday, approximately 2.5 miles north of McKenney Highway. The vehicle, a 2024 Lexus RX 350, veered off the left side of the road and ignited. The driver, identified as Faiqa Aftab Qureshi, 75, from Norfolk, was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and unfortunately succumbed to her injuries on-site.
