Fatal accident in Shelburne involving pedestrian
Shelburne, Vermont - The Shelburne Police Department is currently looking into a tragic incident involving a pedestrian that took place on Tuesday evening at Shelburne Road. Authorities were called to the scene around 7:20 p.m. on December 16, after receiving reports of a single-vehicle collision near Shelburne Road and Lakeview Drive. As per police reports, a pedestrian was hit by a car traveling south on Shelburne Road. Unfortunately, the pedestrian did not survive. The individual's identity has not been disclosed as officials are in the process of notifying their next of kin. The Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team, Shelburne Fire Department, and Shelburne Rescue were all on-site providing assistance.
