Fatal accident in Fresno County as vehicle plunges 100 feet, according to CHP
A tragic incident occurred in Fresno County when a woman in her 40s lost her life as her vehicle went off a cliff and fell more than 100 feet. The California Highway Patrol received a call around 12:30 p.m. about a car that had gone over the edge near Highway 168, Tollhouse Road, and Vista Point. The vehicle traveled about 150 feet downward, resulting in a small fire. Emergency responders from Cal Fire extinguished the fire, although the victim's identity has not yet been confirmed.
