Fatal accident in Aiken, SC at dawn
In Aiken County, South Carolina, a tragic incident occurred earlier today involving a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of 46-year-old Kevin R. Parker of Aiken. The accident, which took place on Good Springs Road near Confederate Road, involved a 2011 Cadillac SUV traveling west on Good Springs Road. The vehicle left the road and collided with a tree, resulting in Mr. Parker being ejected from the car and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The Aiken County Coroner's Office will be conducting an autopsy on Mr. Parker next week in Newberry, South Carolina. Authorities are currently investigating the crash, with the Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol working together on the case.
