Fatal accident halting SacRT light rail service in Folsom, officials report

The incident occurred near the Iron Point Station just before 3 p.m., after a vehicle crashed into the station's ramp and flipped onto the tracks. As a result, the tracks between the Sunrise and Historic Folsom stations were blocked. Folsom police confirmed one pedestrian fatality and another person injured in the collision.
