Fatal accident at the intersection of Hwy 412 and Hwy 265 in Springdale.
On Monday morning in Springdale, a tragic collision resulted in the death of Steven Ochoa, aged 45, while he was driving on Highway 412 (Robinson Ave.). Sgt. Matt Ray, spokesperson for the Springdale Police Department, reported that Ochoa's vehicle collided with the back of a stationary semi-trailer at the intersection with Highway 265 (Old Missouri Road). The impact caused Ochoa's car to veer off the road, roll multiple times, and strike a traffic light pole before coming to a stop in the southbound lanes of Highway 265. Ochoa was fatally injured in the incident. Additionally, two other individuals sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical care. Fortunately, the driver of the semi-trailer was unharmed and fully cooperated with the ensuing investigation.
