Family seeks assistance for Logan woman badly hurt in car accident in Florida
A woman from Logan was in a serious car accident in Florida and her family is seeking assistance. While on a visit to see relatives, Tamra Kendrick was in a head-on collision while running errands. The collision resulted in her car being pushed 75 feet across several lanes, causing severe injuries such as fractures, a collapsed lung, and a brain bleed. Tamra's son, Brandon, credits her survival to Good Samaritans, including an Airman who applied a tourniquet with his belt to stop the bleeding from her leg. This act saved her life and got her to the hospital. Although Tamra had to undergo amputation and is currently in ICU, her son mentions she remains positive. With her husband working in Utah and now needing to be by her side during her recovery, Brandon has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with the expenses.
