Family of pregnant teen killed in Newton County crash identified.

The family of a 19-year-old Georgia teenager, Jaylah Donald, who was pregnant at the time of her tragic death in a Thanksgiving weekend crash, has identified her. She was a passenger in a car that was hit by a drunk driver. The collision occurred when their car was improperly backing into the road and was struck by a BMW. Both drivers are facing charges related to the incident. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Donald's family with funeral expenses and to create a memorial for her and her unborn child. The family described Jaylah as a young woman full of life and aspirations, and they expressed profound sadness at the loss of both her and her baby. The unexpected tragedy has left the family emotionally shattered and financially unprepared. They remember Jaylah as a kind, joyful person with a beautiful smile and expressed regret at the future she was unable to fulfill. Over the holiday weekend, three people lost their lives in accidents investigated by the Georgia State Patrol, and many others were injured. The patrol issued numerous citations for DUI, distracted driving, and seatbelt violations and urged drivers to plan ahead, designate a sober driver, and prioritize road safety.
