Evan M. Gingo Obituary February 6, 2026
Our beautiful boy was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2026.Evan was tragically taken in a weather-related car accident; he was only 18 years old and had been so full of life. He had been studying to become a physical therapist at Slippery Rock University and was excited to continue learning this semester. Our son was smart and silly, warm and kind, sensitive yet brave. He loved soccer, working part-time at Dunkin', and being in college. He loved his family deeply and treasured his friends and girlfriend. His smile lit up every room, and he was adored by those who knew him best.Evan leaves behind his parents, Matt and Leslie Gingo; his younger sister, Audra; his grandparents, LouAnn Kerst; Ray and Crystal Gingo; Jan and Russ Ilg; aunts and uncles; many cousins; his girlfriend; and many dear friends and classmates. Our hearts are forever broken, but we are beyond grateful to be his family, and we take comfort in the outpouring of support from the community. We are so thankful for the time we got to spend loving Evan while he was still on this Earth. Family and friends are welcome on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd. Scott Twp. 15220.
