EMTs from Twin City hit after attending collision on I-290
Two EMTs from Twin City Ambulance were injured when they were hit after arriving at a crash on I-290. The incident occurred on December 26 when the EMTs responded to a call about a motorist who slid off the I-290 near Niagara Falls Boulevard in the Town of Tonawanda. One of the EMTs was hit and pinned outside the vehicle, while the other EMT was inside at the time of the collision. Both EMTs were taken to ECMC and are now in stable condition. The names of those involved have not been disclosed. A GoFundMe page has been created to support one of the EMTs involved in the incident.
