Emergency helicopter lands on I-40 in East Oklahoma, responding to collision
Part of Interstate 40 in Sequoyah County was shut down on Wednesday morning as emergency crews responded to a collision involving a semi-truck.Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed the eastbound lanes of the interstate were shut down due to an injury collision, around 4:30 a.m.The outside lane was opened at 7:45 a.m.An emergency helicopter had landed on the roadway.The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office said there was a semi-truck involved in the collision.40/29 News is working to learn the conditions of everyone involved and what caused this crash.Click here for more Get Ready Traffic.
