Emergency crews respond to fatal trooper-involved wreck on I-35
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, this wreck has resulted in the deaths of an OHP Trooper, a woman and a child. The woman in a small passenger vehicle attempted to avoid an incident in front of her and crossed the center line, striking the trooper's vehicle. OHP also believes debris from a commercial motor vehicle may have contributed to the crash. Anyone who may have more information regarding the commercial vehicle should call 405-425-2323. OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Emergency crews responded to a wreck involving a trooper northbound on I-35 Wednesday afternoon, officials say. The wreck happened near Hefner Rd. and I-35 is currently closed at Britton Rd. I-35 is currently shut down in both directions. It is unclear what caused the wreck or if anyone was injured.
