Elderly man killed in I-5 rollover accident
An 82-year-old man from Oregon passed away last Friday following a single-car accident on Interstate-5 in Jackson County. According to Oregon State Police, the incident took place close to milepost 70 around 11:45 p.m. Jimmy Stanley was traveling north on the highway when he unexpectedly veered off onto the gravel shoulder. Unfortunately, Stanley was thrown from his vehicle and was declared deceased at the site of the crash.
